Sorry about the pause between posts; I don't just post on holidays. I try to post more than that, but I can't always do it. Anyway, as you know, I think--do you? I celebrated Easter bunny Easter on Saturday. My girl scout troop also went to a camp where you can pay to ride the horses there. It was more than you're probably thinking. They taught us how to get on the horse and how to control the horse and then they gave us the reins. I got the biggest horse; his name was Duke. They used him to do the demonstrating too. Because there were so many girls, we had to go in two groups (8 at a time). So while the we were going, the other girls had to just sit or walk around. Between the two groups, we had lunch on the grass beside the arena. Then it was our turn to sit and twiddle our thumbs. Except that we didn't twiddle our thumbs. We went down to see the camp and there was a volleyball net there so we played some volleyball! When we came back we found out that the leader had somehow been thrown off her horse because the horse in front of her had stumbled and it scared her horse. On Sunday, we went over to my Aunt's house to take some Easter pictures and then went to church. My mom teaches the Yound Women so we went a little early to set up the classroom and the library wasn't open. We could hear the people in Sacrament meeting, which wasn't right either; they should have been in class by then! That's when we realized it was before ten and church starts at eleven! So we had to go home and then come back at the right time. On Saturday when we got back my mom said that I could munch on my Easter candy Sat and Sun without having to ask and so I've been enjoying that although I really don't know why and I guess that brings this post to an end!

It looks like you had so much fun Saturday. I think you look like a pro riding that horse, and I am glad it was not you who got bucked off. Did I ever tell you that when I was learning to ride my horse tried to buck me off. I was riding bare back with only a bit so I grabbed hold of the horses hair and held on until the teacher calmed the horse down. But I didn't fall :) I am glad you had a fun Easter. Lots of love Mom Lang
What a fun-filled weekend, Ali! And I'm so impressed you did so well riding that horse. I love riding horses. My favorite time was when I went horse riding in Ecaudor. The mountain we rode up was just gorgeous!
It sounds like you had a lot of fun! Were you nervous at all? I still get a little nervous riding horses.
I was nervous at first, but when I got on and started moving I wasn't really nervous, although maybe I was because I couldn't stop shaking
and I don't know if that was because of the lack of sun, or if I was nervous.I can't do whatever it takes to get it to the point where I can just click on your name and view your blog. Can anyone help?
